FTSE extends gain as commodities and data boost 
LONDON (Reuters) - The FTSE 100 index extended earlier gains on Wednesday, climbing 0.7 percent after rising oil and metal prices helped boost commodity stocks, while Bank of England meeting minutes and GDP data also pushed shares higher.
